Getting Here

Airport Pickup: Chaperoned transportation to and from Dulles Airport is available. Anyone requiring this service must request it early enough for camp to make the necessary arrangements. A fee to cover the cost of chaperonage and transportation will be charged.

Driving Directions:  All parents/guardians will be sent specific driving directions through CampMinder prior to bringing your child to camp.  If you need driving directions for other reasons, please email [email protected].

Shipping Instructions: Trunks and duffel bags can be shipped directly to Strawderman via UPS. Please notify camp when shipping large parcels.

Camp Visits: In addition to dropping off and picking up your camper, family members may want visit Strawderman for other special events including water pageant and horse shows. While here, you may also want to explore the local Shenandoah area.

Please note: Only parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and siblings who are 21 and older may take a camper off grounds. When doing so, they must check out at the office before leaving camp.
